James Bradley Stocklas

May 31, 1977 — August 19, 2018

James Bradley Stocklas, 41, of Bethlehem Twp., passed unexpectedly on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born May 31, 1977 in Bethlehem, PA; son of James Frank Stocklas and Linda Stocklas Fry. Jimmy will be forever remembered for his sensitivity, caring spirit, and amazing sense of humor.

Jimmy was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and he attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He worked for the City of Bethlehem and later for the Bethlehem Parking Authority. He made many friends in his daily routine; people were drawn to Jimmys heart of gold. Later, Jimmy found spirituality and became a member of East Hills Moravian Church. He worked hard to find happiness and had a gift to bring happiness to those he encountered.

Jimmy loved being the father to his daughter, Gabi. He enjoyed his therapeutic horse riding sessions at Manito Equestrian Center, where he was growing stronger. Jimmy found great joy in fireworks, a great joke, and spending time at the Sands Casino. He was very thoughtful in selecting a special gift for family and friends. Jimmy especially thought that it was hilarious to buy his niece and nephew the loudest toys that he could find. And every Wednesday was “HUMP DAY”; as he would proclaim every Wednesday morning at the top of his lungs!

He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Gabriella Stocklas; mother, Linda Stocklas Fry and husband, Skeeter; father, James Frank Stocklas; sister, Terri Moyzan and husband, Kevin; nephew, Ben and niece, Sarah; as well as his extended family and friends.
