James C. Fair, 79, of Bethlehem died on February 3, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Catherine M. Gaspar Fair. The couple celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem on November 29, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles Fair and Elizabeth Papp Horvath. He attended Bethlehem schools and Moravian College. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and served during the Korean War. James worked many years for Allen Products Corporation before starting his own business, D&S Beverage Co. Inc, where he was president for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine, daughter, Sharon Fair Tapler and her husband Jeffrey of Zionsville, son, James B. Fair of Emmaus, and brother, Gene Fair and his family of Florida.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
