James E. Bartos

James E. Bartos, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Stephen and Irene (Logechnik) Bartos. He was the husband of Janet S. (Davco) Bartos; they were married for 45 years. James worked for the City of Bethlehem Water Department. He was an avid bowler and a member of the National Sokols.

Survivors: wife, Janet; daughters, Susan Bartos and Karen Saunders & husband (Murdocc); grandchildren, Justyn and Micah Saunders; and his sister, Barbara Sloyer. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Marie Carl; and brothers, Richard and Stephen Bartos.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
