James R. Jamann

September 6, 1924 — March 14, 2017

James R. Jamann, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Born in Haycock, PA; he was the son of the late Simon and Margaret (Kramer) Jamann. He was the husband of the late Lois (Mohn) Jamann; they were married 45 years.

James owned and operated two business during his career; first as an electrical contractor and then as an electrical inspector. He proudly served in WWII with the Armys 941st Petroleum Products Laboratory. He was a long time member of the Redball Military Transport Club and of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Joseph & wife, Michele and Frederick & wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Maya and Hayden. He was predeceased by his siblings, Clement, William, Rodger, Bernadette and Antoinette.

A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 20, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem, followed by burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
