James Reynolds

James Reynolds, 82, of Bethlehem, PA died peacefully on Monday July 23, 2018, after a brief illness. Born in Cloone, County Leitrim, Ireland, he was the son of the late James and Margaret Reynolds. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years and sweetheart Harriet (Coll). After immigrating to the United States in 1957, he opened Reynolds Caf in Manhattan which he owned for fifty years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Maureen Longernecker, her husband Fred and their children Ken, Kyle, Alex and Greg of Bethlehem, PA, Susan of Florida, and Diane of Wyckoff, NJ; sisters: Nellie Roche and her husband, Joe, and Clair Cox and her husband Pat; and his brother, Kevin and his wife, Helen. He was predeceased by brothers: Chris, Frank, Sean, Tommy and Patrick; sisters, Mary and Patricia.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 27 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. A 7 p.m. service will follow in the funeral home. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Josephs Cemetery in Hackensack, NJ.

In lieu of flowers contributions in James memory to the Eastern Children Christian Retreat, 700 Mountain Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481-1099.
