James Stephen Marouchoc

April 29, 1942 — August 3, 2013

James Stephen Marouchoc, 71, died on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his home. He was born in Palmerton, son of the late John and Mary (Zolota) Marouchoc. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Ann (Badowski) Marouchoc. They would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on August 7th.

Jim served in the US Army from 1960-1963. He served as a supervisor at Durkee Foods for 33 years and later retired from Brickman Group after 10 years. He was a parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem. Jim was a hard worker who enjoyed hunting, gardening and coaching baseball from little league through Tri-County League levels.

Jim will be dearly missed by his wife, Barbara; sons, James Marouchoc Jr. (Jennifer) of Bethlehem; David Marouchoc (Joie) of Lower Saucon; daughter, Lori Guman (Richard) of Bethlehem; his sister, Marianne Fauzio of Nesquehoning and eight grandchildren, Taylor, Nicholas, Alex, Nathan, Jack, Carolyn, Landry and Stephen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 10-11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of ones choice.
