James William Hartman

James William Hartman, 61, of Bethlehem, died on February 24, 2018. He was born July 11, 1956 in Kansas. He was the son of the late Lester Hartman and Deanna (Dervin) Mazzoni and her husband, Arnold of Phillipsburg, NJ. Jim is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Andrea (Panick) Hartman.

Jim was a graduate of Lafayette College. He recently retired as the senior vice president and senior commercial lender from Merchants Bank. He always strived to do his very best for those that he was working with; Jim lived by the Golden Rule. He was an avid golfer, sports enthusiast and enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family. Jim was also an avid reader; he had a great passion for learning.



He will be dearly missed by his wife, Donna; son, Andrew Hartman of Florida; his mother Deanna and step-father, Arnold; brothers, Steven Hartman of Bethlehem and Gregory Hartman and his wife, Pamela of Bangor; as well as his nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
