Janet Wev

Janet Emily (Osborne) Wev, 83, of Lehigh Commons, Macungie, formerly of Bethlehem and Millsboro, DE passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Bethlehem North Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia on August 9, 1940 to the late William Osborne and Maryjane (Mason) Osborne. Janet co-owned and operated the former Cardinal Dry Cleaners of Allentown for many years until retiring. After retiring she moved to Millsboro, DE. There, she volunteered at Beebe thrift shops. Janet enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren, taking care of her pet African Grey "Zeus", and doing stained glass projects.

Survivors: sons: Mason D. (Chialing Jennifer) Wev of North Wales, PA, Buckingham O. Wev of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Jayson Wev and Nolan Wev. She was predeceased by her son: Paul C. Wev (Nov. 28, 2009); siblings: Marylou (Osborne) Wesolowski, Edna Osborne, Bessie (Osborne) Trotman, William Osborne, Robert "Herbie" Osborne.

Services: Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 11 to 12 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a prayer service at 12 PM.
