Janice Hagerty, 74, of Bethlehem, died on Friday June 6, 2014. She was born February 21, 1940 in Allentown; daughter of the late Walter and Miriam (Everett) Yost. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Hagerty.

Janice owned and operated East Penn Trading Post, a publication that she was very proud of. She was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and was formerly an active member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Janice was recognized by VIA of the Lehigh Valley as Volunteer of the Year.

Janice will be dearly missed by her children, Patrick Hagerty and his wife, Teresa of South Easton, MA and Melissa Hagerty of Bethlehem as well as her sisters, Phyllis Heckman of Allentown; Lois Churchill of Missouri and Renee Bartos of Whitehall, her brother Kenny Yost of Allentown and her three grandchildren, Cooper, Aidan and Abigail. She was preceded by her brother Donald (Hunch) Yost.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 7-9 and again on Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 AM at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Wednesday at Holy Infancy CAtholic Church, 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc.212 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
