Jarred Scott Phillips

Jarred Scott Phillips, 9, of Bethlehem, died suddenly on October 4, 2009 at St. Christopher's Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the loving son of Donald K. Phillips, Jr. and Jodi L. Phillips of Bethlehem and a younger brother to Harlee Phillips also of Bethlehem. Jarred was a 4th grade student at Lincoln Elementary School.

He enjoyed fishing, riding bikes with friends and just being outside. Jarred was a dedicated baseball player for North Central Little League. He also enjoyed playing football for the Bethlehem Raiders and loved watching WWE Wrestling on Monday nights with his dad. In quiet spare time you could find him reading books or playing with his PSP.

Survivors: Jarred will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Donald and Jodi, sister, Harlee, maternal grandparents, Sam and Linda Pidale, great-grandmother, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald K. Phillips, Sr. and Carol Joan Phillips.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2-6 p.m. and again on Monday, from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
