Jean M. Johnson

Jean M. Twitty Johnson, 88, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Blough Health Care Center in Bethlehem.

She was born in New York City, NY; the daughter of the late Alfonso and Marion Henry Twitty. She was the wife of the late Wilbert L. Johnson.

Jean worked for the city of New York as a social worker for 15 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Stephen Johnson and his wife, Wyliette of Bronx, NY; daughters, Marion Johnson of Bronx, NY; Carol Earle of Bethlehem, PA; Hilda Johnson of Bronx, NY; Mercedes Kilgore of Bronx, NY; her brother, Alfonso Twitty of Alpharetta, GA; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and two on the way.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Ronald and Wilbert Johnson.

Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Faith Pentecostal Church, 604 16th Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA
