Jean R. Patterson

Jean R. Patterson, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014. She was born in Revere, PA; Bucks County, the daughter of the late Peter and Pauline Schulberger. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Harold J. Patterson.

Jean was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1957. She worked at Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies, retiring after 30 years of service. She also belonged to the AT&T Pioneers. Besides doing volunteer work, she enjoyed walking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Jean will be lovingly remembered by her companion, John Romanowski; son, William R. Keller and wife, Jane; daughters, Karen, wife of Floyd Wood, Patricia Boyle and companion, Jeff Campbell, and Tammy, wife of Fred Andrayko; her brothers, Peter Schulberger and wife, Ginny, and David Schulberger; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four grand “dogs”. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Kurisco.

A celebration of Jeans life will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley, where she contributed her time as a volunteer.
