Jeanette Filo Kozo, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away at her home on April 25, 2025. She was the wife of Robert "Bob" J. Kozo. Jeanette was born in Bethlehem on January 17, 1938 to late Anthony N. and Anna (Iampietro) Filo. She was a 1956 graduate of Liberty High School where she was a cheerleader. Jeanette worked for the former Bethlehem Steel as a Secretary of 44 years until retiring. She like sports, especially football and basketball. Jeanette liked the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. She was a Lehigh South Side Booster since its inception and had season tickets to Lehigh football and basketball for many years. Jeanette volunteered at St. Luke's Hospital for over 40 years and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: In addition to her husband of 64 years; sister-in-law: Amelia Filo; niece: Mary Anne Sarkozy; great nephew: Anthony Sarkozy. Predeceased by her brother: Anthony N. Filo, Jr.
Services: Family and family friends are invited to her visitation from 9-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at The Connell Funeral Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a memorial service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
