Jeanne M. Marcantognini

Jeanne M. Marcantognini, 80, of Bethlehem Township, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Born April 7, 1933 in Paris, France she was the daughter of the late Marie (Parfait) and Jean Chalufour. Jeanne was married to Joseph Marcantognini for 55 years.

She received a degree in English from Cambridge University in England. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Township. Jeanne dedicated herself to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph of Bethlehem Township; daughters, Anne Jones and husband Alan of Arlington, VA; and Natalie Cunningham and husband Richard of Marlborough, MA; son, John Marcantognini and wife Angela of Blue Bell, PA; sisters, Anne Bossuet and husband Jean of Chaniers, France and Marguerite-Marie Jegou of Saintes, France; grandchildren, Caroline, Marie and William Jones and Michael and Jack Marcantonini.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her brothers, Michel and Claude Chalufour and sisters, Marie Chalufour-Parfait and Helene Chalufour.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 10:30 AM, with a visitation in the church from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jeannes name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or to Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's 801 Osturm St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
