Jean-Paul Danier O'Connor

Jean-Paul Danier OConnor, 26, of Lancaster and formerly of Bethlehem, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 13, 2018. He was born in New York City on March 19, 1992; son of Robert and Magalie Danier-OConnor.

Jean-Paul who was known as J.P. to friends will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family for his kind spirit. He was compassionate, affectionate and caring of the world and people around him. Jean-Paul was an advocate for what is right and just.

Jean-Paul was a 2010 graduate of Freedom High School where he learned graphic arts through the Vo-Tech program and he later attended Northampton Community College. Jean-Paul utilized his skills as a profound thinker, talented artist and wonderful cook in his work as a tattoo artist at Mantra and cook at Callaloo Trinidadian Kitchen both in Lancaster.

He is loved by his parents of Bethlehem; brother, Christian Danier OConnor of Bethlehem; paternal grandparents; aunts; uncles and extended family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.

Jean-Pauls family will receive guests on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Inurnment will be held on Wednesday 10 a.m. at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Guests are encouraged to gather at the entrance to the cemetery at 9:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treatment Trends Inc., 24 S. 5th St. Allentown, PA 18101.
