Jeffrey Scott Rutt

Jeffrey Scott Rutt, 68, of Walnutport, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital Carbon Campus.

Born on March 25, 1956, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Ronald Rutt and Bernice (Frey) Bowman.

Jeff enjoyed building WWII tanks and airplane models. He had an exceptional train collection as well in his younger years. Jeff was a German Shepherd lover, and you could always catch him reading a good book.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Elaine M. (Koons) Rutt-they would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on January 8; children, William Rutt (Marie Christen), Jeffrey S. Rutt, Jr., Heather Woodell (Frank), Kirsten Van Riper (Frederick), and Marlene Rutt (Anthony Cooper) and Jesse James Rutt; two brothers, Ronald Rutt (Cindy) and Craig Rutt; sister, Tazbah Sweeney; and six grandchildren, Kaylie, Aric, Kali, Frederick, Alyssa, and Emily.

Services will be held privately.
