Jeffrey William Focht

Dr. Jeffrey William Focht, Ed.D., 51, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was born on March 12, 1968 in Malden, MA; son of the late Henry and Mary Jane (Berlan) Focht. Jeff cherished countless wonderful memories with his devoted wife of 15 years, Wanda (Gonzalez) Focht. They started dating in 2000 and were married in 2005.

Jeff will be affectionately remembered as a faith filled man who strived every day to be an example of Gods love. He was a man who always put people first, was an avid reader, enjoyed food, wine, great company and most of all loved spending time with his family.

Jeff had a lifelong passion for learning which grew into his career as an educator. He was a graduate of Masuk High School, earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at Central Connecticut State University, studied Liberal Studies at Villanova University where he earned his Masters Degree, and earned his Doctorate in Higher Education Management at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. J as he was affectionately known was the former Vice President of Academic Affairs at Northampton Community College and more recently served as Assistant Professor of Business at DeSales University as well as the McCabe Chair of Business Ethics and was on the advisory board for the Forum for Ethics in the Work Place.

Jeff will be dearly missed by his wife, Wanda; children, Jacklyn Feliciano (Courtney), Monica Campbell (Tony), and Nicholas Feliciano (Brooke); as well as his grandchildren, Antonio, Milan, Imani, Ari and a baby girl to be born soon. Jeff is also survived by his sisters, Judy Christensen (Ted) and Susan Collins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Focht.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Life Church, 4609 Newburg Rd., Nazareth, PA 18064. Doors will be opened to guests at 11:45 a.m. In celebrating Jeff, we ask that you not wear all black.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Church Nazareth.
