Jennie J. Polak

Jennie J. Polak, 98, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Holy Family Manor. She was born March 23, 1920; daughter of the late Anthony and Kathryn (Moskal) Walkiewicz. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Polak.

Jennie was a talented seamstress at Forte Neckware and she later worked at Magnetic Windings. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jennie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, puzzle books, and baking.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Kathleen A. Polak of Bethlehem Twp.; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jennie was predeceased by her sister, Frances Toth; and brothers, Alex, Anthony, and Walter Walkiewicz.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church and/or Holy Family Manor, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
