Jennie Pecsek, 89, of Bethlehem, PA, died on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Born in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wasyl and Pauline (Bobelock) Tyciak. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen “Hips” Pecsek. They were married 43 years until his death in 1990. Jennie dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of the Catholic Sokols Wreath #32, a member of the First Ladies Slovak Catholic Ladies Association and a parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, Bethlehem.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Stephen, John, Charles and Anne all of Bethlehem. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary Tyciak; sister, Anna Kalata; step-sister, Susan Kachmar and two step-brothers, Stanley and Charles Mellick.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
