Jerome J. Benny

Jerome J. "Jerry" Benny, 76, of Bethlehem, died Friday October 1, 2010 at Manor Care, Bethlehem. Born September 22, 1934 in Blakeslee, PA, he was the son of the late Jerry and Columbia Martini Benny.

He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel and worked in the mail room for 30 years before retiring in 1988.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Roxann Benny-Gilroy and husband James, Deborah Pruzinsky and husband Michael, Donna Litzenberger, Selena Busch and husband Gerald, Valerie Hotmer, Leanna Benny, and Shyanna Bujcs, sister, Joan Villani, six grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where a viewing will be held on Tuesday October 5th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
