Jill Rae Haines

Jill Rae Haines, 55, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 8, 2023.

Born on September 27, 1967, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Gary Fisher and Janet Fisher-Atiyeh.

Jill graduated from William Allen High School in 1985. She dedicated her life to being a mother, she was the strength of the household. When summer came around, Jill enjoyed sunbathing and taking her annual trips since 1997 to Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed cooking, swimming, and dining at the Borderline Restaurant.

Above all, Jill will be remembered for her selflessness and caring nature. She was overly generous to all the people she loved---she had a humble heart and would spoil her family every chance she could.

Jill will be dearly missed by her husband of 27 years, Douglas E. Haines; loving daughter, Hailey Haines and her boyfriend, Anthony; mother, Janet Fisher-Atiyeh; two brothers, Scott Fisher and his wife, Sue, and Brian Fisher and his wife, Verde; and her beloved dog, Zeus.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Fisher; two brothers, Bruce, and Keith Fisher; and stepfather, James Atiyeh.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.

Flowers may be sent to Connell Funeral Home and donations may be made to Peaceable Kingdom, 1049 Macarthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052, in her honor.
