Jim S. Hock, 87, of Bethlehem died Monday, May 9, 2016 at the St. Lukes Hospice House. He was born February 18, 1929 in Bethlehem to the late Anna and Imre Hock. He was married to Mary Agnes (Persa) Hock for 47 years until her passing on August 2, 1999.

Jim worked at the Bethlehem Steel retiring in 1983. He was a lifelong member of the former St. John Capistrano Church and currently at Holy Infancy Church in Bethlehem. Jim was a proud U.S. Marine who served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was also an avid New York Yankee and New York Giants fan.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Stephanie Rivera wife of Angel, Alexandra Solivan wife of Ricardo and Mary Ellen Amey wife of Michael all of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Aaron Rivera husband of Susan, Monica, Saralyn, Tyler and Patrick and a great grandson, Marques. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jims name to Holy Infancy Catholic Church or St. Lukes VNA Hospice 240 Union Station Plaza, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
