Joan Dugan

September 17, 1933 — December 7, 2024

Beloved sister, mother, grandmother, Joan C. Dugan passed away on December 7, 2024. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Charles P. Dugan and her son, Neal Dugan. Joan and Charlie were married for over 64 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marikay (Pat), Regina, Larry (Andrea), Lianne (David) and Kevin; her grandchildren, Nick (Paige), Alyssa, Collin (Katie), Sasha and Connor and her siblings, Cathy, Esther, Jerry and Richard.

A graduate of West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Joan was an active member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem parish and Cursillo. She was a resident of Country Meadows for the last 7 years. The family is grateful to her compassionate caregivers during that time.

The eldest daughter of Thomas and Katherine Powers, Joan is predeceased by her brothers Tommy and Larry.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame of Bethlehem, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. at 11 a.m., on Friday Dec. 13, 2024. Interment will be private at Holy Savior Cemetery. Family and friends may call in the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to DeSales University, Division of Performing Arts or Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church.
