Joan Gubish

Joan Gubish, 76, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday December 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1939, daughter of the late Marvin and Laura (Lake) Hale. She was the wife of William Gubish. They celebrated 46 years of marriage on May 3, 2015. Joan was the owner/operator of Joans Beauty Salon for 30 years. She graduated for the Collonna School of Cosmetology in Albany, NY in 1959. Joan was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William, son, David Gubish of South Carolina, sister, Betty Place of California, and grandchildren, Sara Gubish and Noah Gubish. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Hale, and William Hale, sisters, Mainie Lombardoni, Barbara Craig, Marlene Hale, and Sally Minkler, and step-son, Joseph Gubish.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
