Joann "Mokey" Gorgol

Joann Gorgol, “Mokey”, 57, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 1, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was born in Montclair, NJ, the daughter of the late Peter Wall, Sr. and Agnes (Arminio) Wall of New Jersey. She was the loving wife of Joseph Gorgol. They met in 1972 and were married September 3, 1977.

Joann attended Hoffman High School in South Amboy. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Joann lived life to its fullest.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joseph; her mother, Agnes; son, Joseph Gorgol, Jr. and his fiance, Tionna Dunlap, of Nazareth; daughter, Melissa, wife of Jason Keppel of Northampton; brother, Peter Wall, Jr.; sisters, Kathleen Wall Nagy, Linda Zuppa and Sarah Westcott; brother-in-law, Anthony Gorgol, Jr. and wife, Thomasina; her four grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Mya and Landon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Anthony and Mary Gorgol; and step-father, John Rupinski.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Entombment will follow Mass at Bethlehem Memorial Park Mausoleum.
