Joanne Del Prado

Joanne (Pope) Del Prado, 63, of Easton, PA died Friday, May 17, 2013 in her home surrounded by her family. Born April 17, 1950 in Silver Springs, MD she was the daughter of Margaret Pope and the late Joseph Richard Pope, Sr.

Joanne worked as a nurse for 30 years and spending 21 years at St. Luke's in Bethlehem. She dedicated herself to her family and career.

Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Leeanne Del Prado, son, Matthew Del Prado, brothers, Steven Pope and wife Maureen and Joseph Pope, Jr. and sisters, Marianne Grello and husband Bernard, Christine Pope and Nancy Jankoski and husband Frank. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her close friend, Mary Hopkins.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-9 PM. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 E. Washington Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017 from 10-11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joanne's name to Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's Development Office 801 Osturm St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
