John A. Chladni

John A. Chladni, 95, of Bethlehem died on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Gracedale Nursing Home.

He was born November 11, 1914 in Bethlehem, the son of the late John and Theresa Sherson Chladni.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Moyer Chladni.

John retired as a Mechanic from Whitehall Auto Parts after 15 years of service. Prior, he worked as a Mechanic for Valley Motors and was the owner and operator of Easton Grinding Shop.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

John will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Marie E. Utsch and her husband Richard of Slatington; sons, George V. Chladni and his wife Mary of Long Beach, CA and John Timothy Chladni of Bethlehem as well as five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his sisters Margaret Litwin and Bertha Schaninger, brother Victor Chladni and two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem Pa 18020.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
