John Andrew Ulincy

John A. Ulincy, 90, of Hellertown, died Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was born in Bethlehem, son of the late Andrew and Apolonia (Palencar) Ulincy. He was the dedicated husband of 33 years to the late Irene Theresa (Check) Ulincy. John proudly served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. after over 40 years of service as a machinist. John was a parishioner of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Loretta D. Ulincy, with whom he resided, Marian U. Starr and her husband, Samuel of Falls Church, VA, Bernard J. Ulincy and his wife Kathryn of Bridgeville, PA and Gina I. Addie and her husband Scott of Leesburg, VA. He will also be dearly missed by eight grandchildren, his sisters, Ann Marcincin of Tamaqua and Margaret Maher of Potomac, MD and his brother, Rev. Andrew Ulincy of Holy Family Villa. John was preceded in death by his sisters, Sr. Mary Bridget, M.S.C. and Mary Votral, and his brothers, Stephen, George and Joseph.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Rd., Hellertown, PA 18055. The family will also receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 9:30-10:15 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Theresa and/ or Hospice of St. Luke's, c/o Development Office, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
