John B. Boyle

John B. Boyle, 80, Of Allentown died Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital Fountain Hill Campus surrounded by family. Born July 17, 1936 in Coaldale, PA, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Cecelia (Porubsky) Boyle. He was married to Ursula (Eckernkamp) Boyle for 60 years.

John worked for United Airlines in the customer service department retiring after 32 years of service. He served his country in the US Air Force. John was an avid golfer, traveler and loved spending time with his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ursula, daughters, Debbie wife of Ed Young of East Allen Township and Denise Golden and fianc, Bill Hart of Bethlehem, brother, Joseph Boyle of FL, sister, Constance Boyle of Whitehall, grandchildren, Tara, Brenna, Jessica and Nathan and two great grandsons, Cole and Ben. He was predeceased by his brother, Cornelius Boyle.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 PM. Another viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9:45 to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Johns name to St. Labre Indian School, E. Tongue River Rd., Ashland, MT 59003 or to the Friar of Atonement, 40 Franciscan Way, Garrison, NY 10524.
