John Beckowski

John Beckowski, 82, formerly of Nazareth, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Southeast Veterans Center in Spring City.

Born on April 15, 1940, he was the son of the late John and Althea (Breidinger) Beckowski.

Following his education at William Allen High School, John served in the United States Air Force, receiving an Honorable Discharge on October 13, 1961. After his time in the military, he worked as a truck driver in the cement industry for F.T. Silfies and Schwermann Trucking until his retirement.

Outside of work, John enjoyed golf, watching sports, and playing the lottery.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elizabeth (Bacak) Beckowski whom he married on February 17, 1973; son Shawn Beckowski and daughter-in-law Catherine; and two grandsons Jack and Teddy Beckowski.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home.
