John C. Delvillaggio

John C. DelVillaggio, 68, of Bethlehem Twp., entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Carl P. and Helen S. (Adamcik) DelVillaggio. He was the devoted husband to the late Karen A. DelVillaggio. They were married for 35 years at the time of her passing in 2006.

John worked as a Respiratory Therapist for Lehigh Valley Hospital. He then worked for Youngs Medical Home Healthcare from which he retired. John was a train enthusiast, he enjoyed bowling at Town and Country Lanes every Friday night with his league. John also worked with his cousin and best friend Dennis Grebson as a DJ for Grebson DJs. John proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, David J. Del Villaggio and his wife, Sheri, of Bethlehem; and Carl P. Del Villaggio, II and his fianc, Bobbie Balik of Bethlehem; sisters, Janice DelVillaggio of Bethlehem; and Michelle Mackey and husband, William of Easton; and his three granddaughters, Kayla and her fianc, Victor, Morgan and Hannah.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem.
