John C. Laposky

John C. Laposky, Jr., 81, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Saucon Valley Manor.

Born on April 6, 1941, he was the son of the late John and Anne (Kokosky) Laposky.

A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, John went on to serve in the U.S. Army.

Following his military service, he worked for Bethlehem Steel for over thirty years.

Outside of work, John was a simple guy, but an emphatic sports fanenjoying both baseball and football.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: John Laposky, III; and his niece: Sherry Doyle.

John will be lovingly remembered by his sister: Barbara Doyle (Dennis); daughter-in-law: Danielle Wiener; two grandsons: Joseph and Nathan Laposky; nephew: Patrick Doyle; one great-niece: Maggie Doyle; one great-nephew: Colin Doyle; and one great step-nephew: Jared Powers.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:30am in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.

Arrangements are under the care of the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem.
