John Clement, Jr.

John Clement, Jr., 79, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at St. Luke?s Hospital.

He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late John and Katherine Clement.

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Helen Prestosh Clement.

He was a member of the U.S. Navy during WWII.

John proudly served the Bethlehem Community for 32 years as a Police Officer. After retiring in 1985, he worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Northampton County until 2005.

John was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police

John will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Helen; Daughter, Laura Ann wife of Richard A. Bogert, Jr. of Allentown and Brother Steven Clement of Hellertown as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his four Sisters and two Brothers.

A Visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Saturday August 19, 2006 from 8-9:30 AM, with Panachida to begin at 9:30AM.

Office of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday August 19, 2006 at St. Josephat's Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite 1826 Kenmore Ave Bethlehem PA 18018.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
