John E. Junda

John E. Junda, 51, of Danielsville, PA died December 23, 2014. Born May 20, 1963 in Jersey City, NJ and raised in East Rutherford, NJ he was the son of Edward Junda and the late Rose (Matsko) Junda. He was married to Nancy (Wadiak) Junda with whom he celebrated 26 years of marriage this past August 21st.

John worked for Merck& Co. as an Executive Audit Director for over 24 years in Whitehouse Station, NJ. He also held many certifications such as a CPA, CIA, CMA, CFE, CISA and a MBA. John was a devote member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Bethlehem where he volunteered much of his time and expertise. He also volunteered with the Wounded Warriors and was a member of the Federated Orthodox Churches of America (FOCA). He was an avid basketball player and golfer who was very proud of his “hole in one”, an all-around outdoorsman and world traveler.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nancy, son, Alexander Junda, daughter, Anastasia Junda, father, Edward, brother, Joseph E. Junda and wife Jennifer, niece, Brielle and a nephew, Kyle.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church 980 Bridle Path Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017 from 10 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
