John E. Leszcynski, Jr., 87, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. He is the son of the late John E. Leszcynski, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Baran) Leszcynski.
John served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and later with Mack Truck until his retirement.
He is survived by his daughter, Marianne Haldaman and her husband, Jeffrey; his sister, Mary Jo Steager; grandchildren, Adrian Cabassa and his wife, Krista; Daria Cabassa; Lauren Freeman and her husband, Frank and Kyle Kesack; eight great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Leszcynski; sister, Betty Kent; brothers, Joseph R. Leszcynski and Michael Ontko and his daughter, Regina Leszcynski.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospice.
