John "Jack" Edelman

John T. "Jack" Edelman, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Born on October 3, 1940, the son of the late Emma (Marsden) and Bernard Edelman. He was the loving husband of Joann R. (Johns) Edelman.

Jack proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and later his city as a member of the Bethlehem Fire Department, retiring as Captain. He enjoyed fishing, especially his 2 trips to Canada every year, trips to Las Vegas and he was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

He will be remembered by his wife of 54 years, Joann R. Edelman; sons, Keith Edelman and John Edelman, II. and his wife, Maureen and his brother, Bernie Edelman and his wife, Janet. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, William Edelman.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
