John J. Allen

John J. Allen, 52, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at St Lukes Hospital-Anderson Campus. He was the loving husband of Beatrice (Dunphy) Allen with whom he shared 19 years marriage. Born in Warren, MI, he was the son of the late Bernard and Frances (Stackhouse) Allen.

John was a dedicated and devoted husband and father. He was one of the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fans and loved sports. Everyone who knew him knew that he was such a funny caring person with a heart of gold. He always tried to make everyone smile.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by daughters: Kristen (Mark) of Bethlehem; Michelle of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; and Jamie (Derek) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; grandchildren: Mikayla and Tyler; sister: Julia (Avery) of Manassas, VA and brother: Al of Rippey, IA.

There will be a visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem, followed by a blessing service at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 968 Postal Rd #110, Allentown, PA 18109.
