John J. Bucci

John J. Bucci, 73, of Bethlehem Township, died Monday May 12, 2008, at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, NY. Born on February 15, 1935 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Rizzario and Clara Perrella Bucci. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Naomi Benowitz Bucci.

John was a musician who played trombone with many big bands including Louie Prima and Norm Morales. Later on he went into the restaurant business in New York and was an antiques dealer while living in Bethlehem.

He will be missed by his wife, Naomi, son, Gregory, daughter, Claudia Ruby and her husband Carl, grandchildren, Sabrina and Leigh Ruby; brothers, Frank and Richard, along with his cousins here and in Italy. He will also be missed by his many friends who will remember his cooking talents and his great love for dogs.

All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
