John J. Dancho

John J. Dancho, Jr., 72, of Bethlehem Township, died on Sunday, August 13, 2017; he was surrounded by his family. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Judd) Dancho. He was the husband of Sheree (Johns) Dancho, they were married for 32 years.

John was the owner and operator of Dancho Sanitation for over 40 years. Prior to, he was a Bethlehem Police Officer for two years. He was a US Navy veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a kind and generous man who could always make you laugh and entertain you with his stories.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sheree; daughter, Tiffany Lengyel and husband David; brothers, Richard and wife Joan, Raymond and Thomas; sister, Elaine Emrick; mother-in-law, Joyce Johns; sisters-in-law, Georgia Keim and Joyal Henritzy; brother-in -law, Albert Johns and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Wednesday, August 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A 10:30 a.m. funeral service will follow on Thursday, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
