John J. Gabellini

John J. Gabellini, Jr., 89, of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born June 16, 1925 in Allentown he was the son of the late Mary (Dalla Palu) and John J. Gabellini, Sr. He was married to Lorraine (Rosenberger) Gabellini for 54 years until her passing on September 29, 2008.

John was the owner of Gabellini Design in the Lehigh Valley. He was the assistant to Max Hess and was very instrumental in the design of the Talking Elevator at Hesss, much of the advertising for Hesss and bringing in Celebrities for fashion shows. John was an avid artist. He was a graduate of Duke University and Muhlenberg College and a member of the TKO Fraternity.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Christopher Gabellini of Allentown and Michael Gabellini and wife Nancy of Brooklyn, NY, daughter, Kimberly Gabellini of Richmond, CA, granddaughters, Giuliana and Chiara and his beloved dog, Sam. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Norma Fink and Ida Gorek.

A service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Grace Episcopal Church 108, 5th st., Allentown, PA 18102 at 12:45 PM. Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
