John J. Hilbert

John J. Hilbert, 81, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at his home.

He was born on August 17, 1928 in Allentown; the son of the late John David and Laura Kinsell Hilbert.

John was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Molinaro Hilbert on August 17, 1999.

He proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corps during World War II.

John was the owner and operator of John J. Hilbert Painting and Paper Hanging.

He was a member of Church of the Manger, Bethlehem.

John will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Judi wife of Harold McCarthy of Allentown, PA; Connie wife of William H. Gorman, Jr. and Laura "Candy" wife of Alvin Rice all of Bethlehem as well as his seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson

Arrangements for the celebration of John's life have been made with the guidance of Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 9-10 AM at Church of the Manger, 1401 Greenview Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to immediately follow in the church at 10 AM.

Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
