John J. Windish

John J. Windish, Jr., 71, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 in his home. Born August 4, 1939 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Hilda Toth and John J. Windish.

John worked at Pete?s Hot Dog Shop in Bethlehem for over 30 years retiring in November 1998. He was a member of University Parish of Holy Ghost in Bethlehem and the Washington Republican Club. John was an avid New York Yankees fan.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Ronald Windish with whom he lived with in Bethlehem.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 7-9 PM. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at University Parish of Holy Ghost 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18015 from 9-10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in John?s Name to the Holy Ghost Memorial Fund.
