John Joseph Yenca

John J. Yenca, 70 years of age, passed away the morning of January 13, 2022 in Bethlehem, Pa.

John lived most of his adult life in the Bethlehem community. John was particularly devoted to his many years as Culinary Chef for the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Lehigh University.

During his years as Chef for the Brothers, John was repeatedly awarded the acclaimed honor of "The Best Chef on the Hill."

John's time on campus led to memories, unending relationships and an experience that lasted John's lifetime. John was most proud to be a fellow 'Delt.'

The Family is most grateful for John's loving friends in the Bethlehem area as he considered all of you his family. For this we are all most grateful.

John was preceded in death by his mother and father and 1 younger brother.

John is survived by 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and loving nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends may pay their respects from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, Pa.

Burial will occur the following day at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at the family plot in Silver Spring, Maryland.
