John Kozma

John Kozma, 65, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill.

Born on May 31, 1958, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Polack) Kozma.

John graduated from Freedom High School and retired from the Bethlehem Steel. John was a quiet man—he enjoyed hiking and taking in the outdoors. He also loved woodworking in his spare time.

John will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Mary Kozma; brothers, Eugene (Sally) Kozma and Robert (Jayne) Kozma; sister, Linda (Jay) Rogan; sister and brother-in-laws, Linda (Jack) Gray, Ed LaChapelle and Zelda Ziegler, Rick (Dana) LaChapelle, John (Yifong) LaChapelle and Leslie Young; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with John’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of his family.
