John F. Lehman, Jr., 75, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at his home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on August 17, 1949, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John F. and Anna C. (Ivankovits) Lehman.
John graduated from Liberty High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from East Stroudsburg University. Over the years, John worked at Concrete Deck, Bethlehem Steel, AT&T, and he retired from Guardian Life Insurance as a Licensing Analyst. John was a lifelong member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, formerly known as Ss. Cyril & Methodius. He was also a member of the Wanderers, The Heights AA, and The Jeff's.
John was an outstanding basketball player at Liberty High School where he earned the title of MVP and also at East Stroudsburg University where he was inducted into the hall of fame. His athletic abilities followed him into his later years as well, he enjoyed golfing and playing racquetball.
John will be remembered as a great brother, great son, and great friend to all of those who knew him.
He will be dearly missed by his sister, Janet R. Lehman.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 8-10:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
