John Leonard Iampietro

John Leonard Iampietro, 81, of Bethlehem, died on June 13, 2021. He was born in Bethlehem on July 6, 1939; son of the late John and Madeline (Andrucci) Iampietro.

John was a graduate of Liberty High School. He served in the grocery industry until his retirement from Valley Farm Market, where he worked for 20 years.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary where he was a member of the Holy Name Society.

John will be remembered as a true gentleman. He was kind, always looking out for the wellbeing of others, and had a special place in his heart for children. John was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Rosemarie H. Sweeney; brother, Daniel Iampietro and wife, Marianne; sister-in-law, Sandra Iampietro; as well as his nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his brother, Richard Iampietro.

The family will receive friends at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. with a service to immediately follow. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
