John Mcneil,

John McNeil, Jr., 84, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was the son of the late Irene (Jones) and John McNeil. John was the loving husband of Janet (Narolesky) McNeil for 45 years.

John proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the Unites States Army. John graduated from Dubois High School in 1950. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem. He enjoyed sharing his woodworking with his family and friends and he was an avid Steelers fan.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet McNeil; children, Ryan McNeil, Shelley McNeil, John Bradley McNeil, David McNeil, Randall McNeil, Timothy McNeil and Cynthia Thomas; brother, James McNeil; sisters, Joan Christy, Shirley Gearhart, Connie Brubaker and Margie McNeil; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
