John Philip Krasley

April 9, 1942 — November 12, 2007

John Philip Krasley, 65, of Bethlehem died suddenly at his home on Monday, November, 12, 2007. Born in Danielsville he was the son of the late Lloyd F. & Mildred V. Oplinger Krasley.

Phil was the loving husband of Margaret Corrow for 32 years.

He retired in June of 2003 as a layout operator after 38 years of employment with Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent/Agere. He was a member of the IBEW.

Phil was a graduate of Northampton High School and a member of the F&AM Chapman Lodge 637 in Northampton. Over the years Phil liked to golf, was an avid bowler and enjoyed taking care of his yard and gardens. He was a talented woodworker and stained glass worker.

Phil was a quiet, good man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Along with his wife he is survived by a son Larry Corrow and his wife Maggie of Carlyle, Illinois, two sisters, Mary Ann, wife of John Hall of Lehighton and Isabel J. wife of Elden Aldridge of Sacramento, CA, four grandchildren, Laura, Stephen, Jarrett and Ethan. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, George Prutko of Coplay and Andrew Prutko of Walnutport and several nieces and nephews.

Phil was predeceased by a brother Lloyd Allen Krasley and a sister Beneth V. Krasley Cartmell

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Friday, November 16, 2007 in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Friends and family may call from 10:00AM to time of services. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
