John S. Krafcik

John S. Krafcik Jr. , 70, of Bethlehem died Friday October 2, 2009 at the Altoona Regional Hospital in Altoona, Pa. He was born on May 9, 1939 in Bethlehem son of the late John and Pauline Alice Ewiak Krafcik.

John worked as a machine operator for B. Braun Medical Inc. for 30 years retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption, B.V.M. in Bethlehem, Pa. John was an avid bowler in various leagues in the area, winning many trophy awards and also an avid golfer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Jeanette C. Beilfuss wife of Walter C. of Bethlehem, brother, James P. Krafcik and wife Sharon of Boothwyn, Pa., sister, Marcella A. Koch wife of James of Allentown, , Aunt Frances Krawczyk of Bethlehem, nieces, Rebekah Brosky, Allison Koch, Jennifer Krafcik, and Julie Ann Krafcik, nephews, William Brosky, Jeremy Koch, and Jonathan Krafcik, and a great niece Leelannee Rachael Brosky.

He was predeceased by his niece Rachael Brosky.

Services will be held on Friday October 9, 2009 at 9:15AM at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem , Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10AM at the Church of the Assumption, B.V.M. 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. Calling hours will held from 7-9PM Thursday evening and Friday morning from 8:15-9:15AM at the funeral home.
