John Samuel Coleman

John Samuel Coleman, Sr., 87, of Bethlehem, PA died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. Born December 6, 1924 in Mountain Top, PA he was the son of the late Albert and Ruth Coleman. He was married to Ethel (Brown) Coleman with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage this past November.

John worked as an iron worker for Bethlehem Iron Works. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

John is survived by his wife, Ethel, son, Joseph G. Coleman and girlfriend, June Boseman, daughter, Susan wife of Dennis Krause, Sr., grandchildren, Dennis D. Krause, Jr., Tanya wife of Kyle Keller and Barett Krause, great grandchildren Marissa and Dylan Krause and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, John S. Coleman, Jr., brothers, James, Larry and Albert Coleman and sisters, Janet Wawrzyniak and Lois Zerfoss.

SERVICES

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 AM. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the Disabled American Veteran's National Service Foundation 3725 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076.
